To maintain an organized inventory system, CloudMA ERP requires you to catalog your item brands. This ensures seamless filtering when adding new products and provides granular brand-based sales reports later on.
As shown in image, you can access this by expanding the Product Module on the left sidebar and selecting Item Brands. From this master dashboard, you can view existing entries or choose between two data entry methods: Manual Registration (Single Entry) or CSV Template Uploads (Bulk Import).
For adding brands individually, use the straightforward modal. Click the blue "+ Add Brand" button at the top of the brand list.
Title * (Required): Type the official name of the manufacturer or brand into the designated text box (e.g., LG, Slon, Lenovo).
Image (Optional): If you want the brand's logo to appear on your storefront or point-of-sale interfaces, click "Choose File" to upload an image from your device.
Click "Submit" to save your changes and add the brand to your live system.
When setting up the system for the first time or onboarding an extensive catalog of manufacturers, the bulk import option saves significant time.
Click the dark blue "Import Brand" button next to the add button, which will launch the modal.
Before creating your own spreadsheet, you must download the system template to avoid upload errors:
Click the light blue "Download" button under the Sample File section.
This downloads a standardized document layout configured specifically for the CloudMA database structure.
Open the downloaded file in Microsoft Excel or your preferred spreadsheet tool. As demonstrated in , your data table must precisely follow this two-column layout.
Once your spreadsheet is fully populated and saved in .csv format:
Go back to the Import Brand modal screen.
Click "Choose File" under Upload CSV File * and select your completed spreadsheet.
Click the dark blue "Submit" button. The system will process your file instantly, populating your master brand directory in bulk.
